Posting my thoughts on what I’d love to be working on for the rest of my life. Having a lot of fun building and contributing to a better world. Flourishing Fun.
I’ve been doing a lot of research and innovation on what I believe is important for the future of people and the planet of today in 2026.
There are many lovely places in the world that I can truly see myself live in and work. And really there are a number of specific countries and reasons as to why. Some interest me because of the opportunity to work on innovative projects for their people only or their environment vs other countries where that innovation wouldn’t really be useful.
A University. Seed-ology and sensors to understand how sounds affect the growth of seeds. A unique mind clock for universities or tech companies to innovate engineering/science/creativity based on the sun/moon/planets.
Better monitoring of ecology and record keeping of current nature decline and growth to better analyze the growing wildfires and/or early preventative measures for irrigation flow. Creating lightweight small self powered devices to monitor simple sensory data and post it between a mesh-point distributed system allowing for large coverage of forestry/land with low power.
Computer Science at either a University or CTO position using my experience to work on a whole host of projects. Reviewing AI data sources, getting granular data that better is structured for analysis and using search based indexes to query that are intelligent in the way the query is generated such that it looks like a question and does not require large amounts of pre-compute for LLMs. Re-working core operating system aspects such that lighter weight functional kernels could be created, such that devices running cortext ARM processors with low power consumption can run quick creativity applications either with a screen or without, all the way up to the same operating system running on a high powered top of the range intel i9 processor. Re-architecting the ability to use multiple cores from the start of the kernel loading up, similar to Erlang or Smalltalk.
Radio.fm. Bringing back the ability for anyone in the world to create a radio station. Like amateur AM radio but with todays ability to press record in the car with Android Auto or Carplay, on a phone, on a computer or even a fridge. Recording whatever comes to the mind and sharing it with your listeners. Being able to curate music or a playlist collaborated with Spotify. The quality of a voice is something I’ve found very powerful and I believe that there are many people either by themselves not wanting to share their visual appearance but have knowledge to share. Having the service translate the audio into different languages would be amazing, such that a coffee lover in Africa could be listened to in Japan.
Private AI. Being able to build localized private curated models of data either using LLMs or search indexes that allow for academics or families to build their own private data stash. The concept of being able to index a Charles Darwin book and related literature to have a personal AI professor agent to ask questions to on the books that are curated in depth and analyzed with associated data that relates to the topic of the AI index. Not large 700Trill token LLM things that are attempting to be 1 index answers all the questions.
Efficient new networking based on TV aerials or FM/AM radio. Benefitting from our ability to use faster processors and a higher complex parallel processing of modulating/de-modulating signals. A re-architecture of how our networking layer is used, today we have built the buffering and sending of large amounts of data on protocols that were designed originally with a simple request/response design. Today we stream lots of video and ideally want to do more, so stripping it down to it’s core and re-architecting it to ensure that the low level protocol being used on a port being opened on an IP address has optimized data chunking, caching, and/or other new techniques of distributed cache construction as data is passed through the network between the server and the client.
Developing new methods of healing using older techniques of healthy eating, gut micro-bacteria, utilizing new methods of soundology resonance to create a higher quality sync with your own body/mind to the food that it consumes. Using Soundology methods to better have unique sounds/drum patterns to be played whilst training the body, with a new form of martial art I’ve called Mui Chi, where it’s a form of dance/tai chi that allows for better blood flow, healing of body mis-alignments, and I believe it has the potential for further exploration on what effects specific types of sounds have on cell biology for healing and cleaning out of virus’.
Growing trees in the desert. Investigate the ability to use morning/evening dew consolidation to germinate plants in hot climates or a moisture tent. Turning sand into soil, by having moss and dead fungus compost to contribute to the creation of unique soils to grow plants. Not genetically engineered, but experimented with existing seeds from the world, ideally jungle climates. Large deserts could therefore see the return of planets, vegetation, creating oxygen, adapting the climate even by encouraging rain.
I'm currently residing in Maidenhead and working on these projects alone and have no plans as yet to make any commitments to a specific university or country. No job. No wife. No plans.
I would work on these projects all by myself solo and grow teams as required with each of the projects as they start and I find the right mindsets.
